In this class, students can join us in the "Mud Hut" and learn how to make jewelry,
sculpture and tiles. Students will experience the wheel and the art of "throwing".

Students will have fun expressing themselves through movement while building stamina,
poise, and rhythmic ability. Instruction is designed to encourage correct posture, self confidence,
good concentration, an understanding of the basic positions of the body, arms, and feet and a
joy of moving to music. Students will also have opportunities to participate in performance
demonstrations and concerts.

Youth Writing

Students taking this class will be exposed to a variety of writing techniques, styles, and
skills that good authors use and apply them in their own creative writing. They will examine
story structure, imporve their vocabulary, and learn how to revise and edit their own writing.
They will also explore the art of illustration and bookmaking. But most important, they will
learn to enjoy writing and apply their new skills to all areas of their learning.

Youth Art History Class
